FAQ

  • Are your books scary?

I would say no, as someone who once-upon-a-time wouldn’t be caught watching a horror movie, let alone reading a horror novel. I like to think my books are great for someone looking to dip their toe into the genre (with a heavy thread of romance).

But, I can say, my books tend to cover heavier topics.

You can find a list of trigger warnings here.

  • Can you read my book/help me with my manuscript?

I wish I could! Unfortunately, I cannot, but there are many great writing resources available online and at local libraries.

A few of my favorite books on writing are:

Plot & Structure by James Scott Bell

Creating Character Arcs by K. M. Weiland

On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King

  • How did you get published?

Short Version: I started writing when I was really, really young. Were those novels any good? No. Did I get better? I hope so.

I wrote A Heart So Haunted in 2023, and my agent and I went on submission with it in August of 2024. Four weeks later, an editor reached out, and the rest is history!
